Well I just got off work and I figured I would start the picture part of this message board off. And considering these are typically new pictures I've taken I thought I would post some of my favorite ones I've taken and hopefully who ever else would post theirs as well. And if you would like too, tell alittle about the picture as well *you dont have too but if you feel the need I see no problem with it lol* This will ALWAYS be my favorite, I went with Thomas and Sprinkle and I think Matt was there to Ocoee National Park in Cleveland, Tennessee. We met up with Charlene later after this was taken. Shot with my 20D and the 24-70 (which I did not own at the time) also it is a total of 6 shots to make this pano This one here is one of my favorites solely for the clouds and not to mention this is taken with the 18-55mm kit lens I borrowed from Thomas when I lived in Jackson, Tennessee. This one I shot at the first wedding I did with Thomas and Sara. This was the daughter of the bride and groom and I think I probably ended up taking more pictures of her than I did the rest of the wedding lol jk. She was very photogenic and I just love this shot And here is my last submisson for today. This one is one of my favorites just because of the way it was edited. Sprinkle helped me with it and I learned alot. This was done for one of my friends senior pictures. I hope you enjoyed them. Please feel free to let me know what you think. Also PLEASE post yours as well! I look forward to seeing every ones else's as well.

Thanks for clearing that up for the many members who view this forum, hahaha. Apparently I missed the point. I didn't realize we were supposed to post pictures too... Here are a few of my favorites: First, probably the luckiest shot I ever took. (and also my current avatar ) This was taken during the Perseids meteor shower of 2007 on top of Roan Mt. in east Tennessee. This was actually the third exposure of the night, I got very little after that. This is a shot of my XTerra (aka The XTerror) just after I bought it. Had a fresh hand wash and wax before its pictures were taken. This was taken with my point and shoot from my bucket truck while at work one foggy morning in Bristol, TN. While the quality isn't good enough to get a decent size print, it does work well for small prints and web viewing. Sometimes a convenient camera is better than no camera at all. This one is of Marblehead Lighthouse on lake Erie in Ohio. It reminds me of older times, haha. This was taken just as the last of the light was disappearing in the sky from Clingman's Dome in the Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee.

Wonderful photos, both of you. Fearing, you captured the sun at the perfect level in your second shot. Any higher and it would have been in full view, losing the streaks of light. Thomas, I love the colors in the XTerror and Lighthouse shots. Here are a few of my favorites: This was taken in Vegas, across from New York, New York. It was the first time I ever went on a photo excursion and this really sparked my interest in continuing. An ice storm rolled through campus one day a few years ago and coated everything in ice. So naturally I skipped class and walked around taking pictures. This along with the iced chain were my favorites of the day. And finally this picture captures part of the set for a production we did called "Brecht on Brecht". I played with the levels of some of the lights we hung before a show and got a few shots, this being my favorite.

Great stuff! I especially love the colors in the last one, very cool. The ice one is pretty cool, I can't believe how cold it must have been!

One of the biggest things lighting has taught me is the use of color, shadow being a close second. I have a stack of gel-scraps waiting to be made into larger sheets to go in the lights in my apartment. And the cold was very cold. That wasn't a happy Michigan winter.

Like many of the casinos it has a gimmick to lure tourists in to gamble. Their gamble is to be a tiny replica of New York City. So it is the fake Statue of Liberty. And I hope the simplicity works for my shots, haha. I'm into the simplistic style, it fits my personality.

A lot of good shots shared here so far That's awesome that you were able to capture the meteor, Thomas. I really like the ice pictures as well, Slacker. It kind of makes me miss winters in Minnesota to see things like that. Just too bad it's not possible to see the beauty without the cold weather though -_-
