Glad to have ya. I got rid of the star ranking system and replaced it with camera models. Have fun advancing through the rankings.

Hahaha, Thomas was clever in thinking up the camera icons. It's awesome to see you on here Greg! I sure hope others will join and feel the exact same way as you. Feel free to spread the forum around to other photogs you know who might be interested.

We do not have enough members at this time to require another staff member, however if this site gets more members you're going to be considered for a mod position. We need to get this site active before adding more staff. So if you have any photographer friends or friends interested in photography feel free to share the forum.

If we grow large enough you can be a moderator. But if we make you a mod now, who will advance through the rankings? So go get lots of ACTIVE members to join.

I'm a photo Newb. Anyways, what's the most efficient way to post images in our posts?

I need to write a tutorial on this, but the method I use is to host the images off-site and use the insert image code listed with the other options above the smiley faces. (If you don't see these, its because you are posting a quick reply instead of clicking reply or quote.) The inserted code will look something like this:

If you post a large image, it will automatically be resized to fit and people can click to see the full size image.
