So, I added a like button which you can find right above your signature, this enables you to like someones post or replies. There is no dislike button as I can see it being abused.
You can unlike what you liked at any time.
Should this stay on the forum or not? I'm curious as to what you all think.

Well you have the option to enable dislikes on this forum, but it will probably be abused.

true. although there is an exhault and smite button. so basically the same but i dont see a reason for a dislike anyways. MAJORITY of people are generally nice and will only put like in the first place, so i suggest just leaving it the same

The karma system limits you to one vote per hour, so it would be hard to abuse it. I see it as a self governance system that will help the admins and mods determine who the problem causers of the site are when disputes arise.
I see the "like" system as something completely different. It just shows your support of something without having to elaborate with a vague, one phrase post, which is deceiving when you do this constantly and rack up a massive post count. You might look like a bigger contribution the the forum than you actually are because you aren't actually participating. The "like" button is more about the post content than the user who posted it.
