Just curious to see what some other people are doing to keep up with their books. I wrote some spreadsheets for my income and outgo, which I periodically print and file away for tax time. I use the open source version of Microsoft Office called Open Office, which is free. I wrote them as Excel spreadsheets in the program Calc because I am already familiar with that format because of my day job. You can actually download Open Office free here: openoffice.orgI will volunteer my spreadsheets for free to anybody who would like to use my format here: Income JournalDownloadPaymentsDownloadAs I said, I am curious to see what other people are doing. I came up with my own work flow on my own, so I am sure there is a thing or two I could learn from others that I never even thought of on my own.

I would have used ShootQ, but then they aligned themselves with Pictage and it was game over for me. If you're looking for studio management software, that is good and free, I recommend Studio Cloud. studiocloud.com/
